Game, defined as the activity which is full of fun, never fails to fascinated people, for pursuing joy is human nature. That is to say, in the most time, people cannot help eagering to play games. However, some people deem that the game may give no positive influence on children’s growth, even do harm to the student. In my point of view, in contrary, the game which limited the time and the type can play an important role in children’s study.
Admittedly, some games which involved violence and blood are likely the poison. Playing such games can lead to so many terrible and irredeemable results. For instance, a 14-year-old boy who addicted into CS(Counter Strike, a kind of computer shooting game) and discontend about his parents for forbidding him to play it, even used the knife(imitated from the game) to hurt his mother! That was so shocking to the society. Therefore, the type of game and the length of playing should be managed carefully.
Nontheless, from the example above, we can conclude another crucial point: the absolutely forbidden is also a unwise way. To give children one or two hours to do the game they like might prevent children from going extremely. Also, the approprate games can teach children about life either. Taking another fact as example, The SIMs(a computer game) is like a life guide to children. The child may control the role in the game to experience a whole life, from the child to teenager, then the adult, till the old. They have to play the role to chat with others, to exercise for work, to get up early to catch the bus, to take care of their families. All these can teach him or her about the real life, and make them realized what they should do at the right time.
Moreover, the game played outside can help the students strong their bodies. In addition, some games, such as the football,bascketball, etc., could also training the sense of coorperation, which is of significant in teamwork in the future.
Above all, the approperate game do teach children about life.
