43″To be an effective leader, a public official must maintain the highest ethical and moral standards.” The speaker consider the leader as the model of the highest ethical and moral standards, which I disapprove. To explain my idea about it, the effective leader should be defined at first. Leader is the person that direct people to make their common goals successful. An effective leader is to achieve that every individual can benifit from the entire success. Making the provement more pursuasive, we limiting the leader as the national leader, for the leader of a nation is indispensable to the people. Admittedly, the high moral and ethical standards is an attractive chracter to the people. An honest kind and loyal man is obviously likely to have more followers. The reason is complicated. It’s truely that people have nature to trust a man with such virtue, however the deeply reason is that people prefer to trust them for the higher possibility to get profit, whether the wealth or reputation. And also, such leader may not deprive their own posses. It has already been demonstrate by the human history again and again. Thus, the speaker’s assertion seems to be correct. Unfortunatly, the fact […]
Argument 237
The Argument indicate that the tax incentives and other financial inducements is the best way for Beauville to reduce unemployment and stimulate the local economic. The reasoning process involves the example of Diliton which implied such policy last year. Unfortunately, the author fails to convince us such proposal is the fastest way to achieve the goals above, as discussed below. To begin with the threshold problem, the author provide no evidence to demonstrate that the Diliton did achieve the goal that reduction of unemployment and promotion of the economic. The data -2 companies relacated in 18 months- lacks of persuasion, for the average level is not provided. Common sense informs me that the the amount of companies located in Diliton is not a good level for a city. Also, the number of the employment is 300, from which we cannot conclude that the unemployment is reduced apparently, for the total of the unemployment is unclear. Thus, the Diliton is not a good sample to illustrate that grants and favorable tax is a good way. Even assuming that the goals are completed, the analogy from Diliton to Beauville is open to cast doubt on. Firstly, the reason that makes Diliton attain […]
